{Kavan & Benita // August 30 2014 // Taber Wedding}

I first met Kavan and Benita at a local coffee shop and I knew right off the bat I was going to have a lot of fun with this down to earth couple. They obviously loved each other very much and their laughter and jokes were contagious. I knew their country themed wedding would be something to remember with the amount of history and detail they put into their day. Little details really make my heart sing and Benita had a gorgeous family brooch on her bouquet and wore her mother’s earrings.

After getting ready with the girls we headed to the family farm south of Taber. This stunning location would be the back drop of Kavan and Benita’s First look as well as the formal pictures and ceremony. A huge windmill farm to the north and old buildings and towering trees made this place unforgettable. After alot of laughter and a couple gun shows we had to duck inside to wait out a freak prairie storm that rolled through in less then an hour. Thankful nothing got wrecked and it gave me time to capture some stunning silhouettes of Kavan and Benita.

A ceremony filled with family and friends followed, and finished with the signing on the back of a truck. I loved how country this wedding was! We headed straight for the Taber Legion Hall for dinner and dancing. I was able to sneak the couple away for a few more shots at sunset, throw in an old car and the day was glorious from start to finish!
